Most of the cast were away camping in the opening episode of Season 6. Bronwyn took the opportunity to let everyone know that Lisa had deliberately stayed out of the trip because of legal actions. As you can imagine, this rumor quickly spread like wildfire.
Later, Heather Gay shared with Lisa what had been disclosed, and Lisa offhandedly rejected the allegations. She claims that the lawsuits were from the past, associated with a previous business partner, and not her area of concern. At the latest episode, Lisa came back and went straight to the rumors that were circulating at a party. She wanted to know who was talking about her and why by throwing “lawsuits” around. When Bronwyn went on to suggest that Lisa should “pay up” in order to get rid of her legal troubles, the exchange got out of hand. Lisa reacted by calling Bronwyn a liar, and, in addition to that, she didn’t hesitate to reject her comments.

Not only did Lisa and Bronwyn have an argument, but it also went beyond them. Angie Katsanevas brought up the comparison of Lisa to Jen Shah, ex-cast member, who was thrown into jail for fraud, an insult which Lisa was really angered by. Besides, Meredith Marks felt that it was disrespectful to talk about Lisa’s legal issues without her knowing. Nevertheless, the cast was not unanimous in their decision as some of them gave their support to Lisa while others chose to go along with Bronwyn.

The major concern: were these rumors grounded in reality? According to the information available, the answer is positive in a limited sense.
